America
“To stay is to exist. But to travel is to live” Quotation by Gustave Nadaud
Our first time in the Americas… Indeed, our trip to New York was our first long-distance city-trip as a family, as we were going there for Theo’s 10th birthday. Our first time in the United States, our first time strolling the streets in -19 degree weather, our first time discovering skyscrapers each one taller than the next, our first time at Shake Shack… New York, the Big Apple, vibrated to the rhythm of our footsteps. From Central Park to Times Square, via the Statue of Liberty, we discovered the city that never sleeps.
Miami, the first long-distance trip of the five of us to the Americas, when Ella was 7 months old… First New Year’s Eve on Miami Beach, first Burrito with feet in the sand, first covid test abroad, first stroll through the Street Art of Wynwood… Miami and Miami Beach offer a multitude of activities for the whole family and a unique visual experience with its typical colors, in December under clear, sunny skies and a turquoise sea.
